Colony Wins at British Small Business Awards
Second award in a week for Colony
It’s been a successful week for Colony as we picked up an award for ‘Best Website’ at the inaugural British Small Business Awards, held on Thursday night at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
Kate Thornton, founder and editor-in-chief of TBSeen.com hosted the awards and welcomed Ben Lobel, editor of SmallBusiness.co.uk to open the ceremony. The Small Business Awards seek to “recognise the small companies that shape British entrepreneurial success.”

Judges included Sir Rod Aldridge, founder of Capita, Luke Lang, co-founder of Crowdcube, Julie Meyer, founder of Ariadne Capital, and Ian Cass, managing director of the Forum of Private Business. “The judges commended Colony for its sophisticated website functionality and design, and a user experience boosted by the site’s geo-specific homepage modules.”
