Earlier this year we were contacted by software engineer Maxime Najim, who along with Jason Strimpel, was busy putting together a new O’Reilly book entitled Building Isomorphic Javascript Apps, and was collecting noteworthy “real-world” examples for the final chapter of the book.

Our 2015 blog post about our unique isomorphic .NET/JavaScript architecture had peaked his interest and he asked if we would like to contribute a case study from the perspective of "isomorphic apps without Node.js".

The book went to print last month and we were delighted to receive a box of complimentary copies from O’Reilly this week.

The book covers a practical approach to building and maintaining isomorphic JavaScript apps, from design to production, and is well worth the read for anyone interest in modern JavaScript development.

We were humbled to find our contribution alongside those by Walmart Labs, Google’s Angular 2 team, and Bloomberg’s "Brisket", in the Real-world Examples chapter.

Many thanks to Max and Jason for our stack of free copies!
